Portable Film Festival

Some rather great news to share!!!

The Portable Film Festival has started, and will go on until the end of the month, so go get some popcorn and sit back in the comforts of your own home and watch what you want, when you want.

If you are unnaware of the portable film fest, then in not so many words its pretty much self explanatory. 

From August 1st – 31st, Portable Film Festival will present its biggest festival program yet of nearly 180 films, from over 800 submissions from 46 countries, across the festival categories of Short Film, Music Video, Look at Me, Get Animated, First Hand Capture, and Feature Film. From widescreen vistas to webcam confessionals, Portable will present the zeitgeist highlights and the under-the-radar prototypes of the big names and future talents of contemporary filmmaking, direct to your laptop, iPod, PSP or 3G mobile phone!

WK Platform

Got the results back for the intership and its super bad news, i was unfortunately not picked to be one of the 12. 

Good news tho, I can use WK for future references and hopefully tis but a small set back.

On friday the 24th July I attended the final of the Wieden + Kennedy (Platform) internship. 

From 180 applicants 40 people were chosen to attend I was one of these lucky so and sos.

oh in case your wondering where i am, i'm the only person you can't really see at the back in the middle. We were all going to jump on three and it seems as if this action was not recorded. oh well better luck next time.

All packed and now unpacking from my move home from university. 

three years and its all over now, get my final result soon and its of to 

london next week for some real work experience at none other than the 'MILL'.
